Bridgwood British Cycling 'Organiser of the Year"

At the 2009 European Masters Track Championships, Brian Cookson, President of British Cycling, finallly caught up with Martin Bridgwood, organiser of the event to present him with the new 'Organiser of the Year' trophy in memory of his long friend and co-organiser, the late Brian Cossavella.
The presentation at the event was all the more fitting as the presentation was initially to be made in March of 2009 when Bridgwood was on honeymoon after his wedding the previous weekend when Cossavella was to be his best man.
