Track Best times and Distances
The UCI Track Commission will manage and establish best times and distances at all the standard competition distances, including a 1-hour distance, for all age categories, both for men and women. Best times established during the World Masters Track Championships shall be automatically registered providing the UCI Commissaire declares the result valid. Best times beaten or established in competitions outside the World Masters Championships shall be notified to the UCI Track Commission using a claim form obtainable from the UCI Masters Commission, details can be obtained from masters@uci.ch. This shall be accompanied by proof of the timing, either electronic or manual, the place, date and nature of the competition in which the event took place, a result communique for the event, and the application countersigned by a UCI qualified official. Best times established outside of competition, for example a 1-hour Distance, should also be claimed on a claim form. This shall be accompanied by proof of the timing, either electronic or manual, the date and venue where the event took place, and the application countersigned by a UCI qualified official who shall be appointed by the National Federation of the country where the event takes place. The UCI Track Commission will examine all claims and ratify these. The list of best times is available from UCI Headquarters and an up to date list will be maintained on the UCI Web Site www.uci.ch and on this site Except, as above the standard UCI Record Regulations shall apply.
